Guillermo A. Chavarria, CEO

Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Guillermo A. Chavarria migrated to the United States in 1972 where he attended and graduated High School.  As he learned the English language, Mr. Chavarria worked as a construction worker. This afforded him to learn the means and methods of construction.
  
In 1980, Mr. Chavarria enrolled in The City College of New York School of Architecture. While studying part time, Mr. Chavarria worked as an expeditor for Architectural Consulting Services (ACS). At ACS, he began to educate himself on the use of the zoning and building codes.  In addition, he learned the filing and approval process of the Department of Buildings throughout the five boroughs.
While working as an expeditor, Mr. Chavarria was introduced to  Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners where he later obtained a position as a staff architect thus launching his architectural career. After working for Beyer Blinder Belle for six years, Mr. Chavarria worked  with  Shulman Lichtensteing Claman and Efron Architects, Ehrenkrantz and Ekstut, Architects and Planners, and Planned Expansion Group (PEG), Architects. While at PEG, Mr. Chavarria was introduced to Real Estate Development.  He was put in charge of the development of a 500,000SF family entertainment center in New Rochelle, NY known as NewRoc City,  with a construction budget of $350,000,000.
After having experienced construction, architecture and real estate development throughout a period of 20 years, Mr. Chavarria decided to form CHAVARRIA Consulting, LLC in October of 1999.
